Little Lehigh Fly Shop
The shop opened in 1993. 17 years have seen a lot of very special anglers pass away. Dr Schwiebert, Gary LaFontaine, Jack Gartside and too many other prominent anglers.
We've also seen some not so prominent folks pass away.
It seems every locality has a memory of a special person, Al Miller, Doc Fritchy, Ray Nierle, Stan Cooper Sr., Jack Richelderfer and many many more.
These people and their contributions to our sport should not be forgotten.
I intend to research these folks and include the information in this newsletter.
Any input you can provide will be appreciated.

The Little Lehigh Fly shop specializes in the distribution of fly fishing
knowledge and equipment appropriate when fishing for wild trout in spring
creeks across the country. We offer an informal atmosphere where one can
chat with the regulars over a cup of coffee, tie flies, or find out what
patterns are most productive. We offer classes for all experience levels and
encourage beginners to ask for assistance, so don't hesitate to contact us
by phone, e-mail, or stop in and chat over a cup of coffee.
Little Lehigh Fly Shop is located in a 19th century springhouse about 10
feet away Little Lehigh Creek. The Little Lehigh is reported to have the
largest population of wild trout in Pennsylvania. The shop is located in the
heart of the Little Lehigh's heritage section, one of two fly fishing only
areas on the creek. We are dedicated to preserving one of the most unique
trout fisheries in Pennsylvania.
The LLFS has been instrumental in construction of a handicapped access ramp,
stream clean up, stream improvements, naming the pools, and tree planting.
